Postmortem - What I'd like to add

When I first put the idea on paper, I had a lot more gameplay features in mind that what eventually came out at the end of the jam.

I wanted different enemy factions with different behaviours (this means a configurable AI), and some units with more movement points than others. I'm planning to add that in the future.

I'd like to add more levels, and make some parts of the terrain protect or enhance units, so that the position of units becomes strategically interesting.

Maybe I'll add a way to buy new units too.

I'd like to push further the underlying "engine" that I made in web assembly, so that it can be used in more ambitious projects.
The Racket transpiler was written when I was learning Racket, so the code structure is not that pretty as I was discovering the language on-the-go. But now that I have a fairly better understanding of Racket, I'm gonna make a real, usable DSL for web assembly, and see where it leads me.

Anyways, thanks for reading this devlog, and see you around for another jam! I'll be back with more lispy games ;)

In the mean time you can checkout my work on Github and reach me on the Racket's slack.
